Have you ever wondered what Paris looks like from up above? Well, thanks to FlyView’s new virtual reality experience, now you can find out.

The premise of this spectacular new attraction is simple – let people soar over Paris, without a plane. Of course, you won’t actually be attached to a jet pack as you gaze down upon this bustling metropolis, but it will feel like you are.

FlyView over Paris

This new type of cultural attraction has already taken off in North America with FlyOver Canada and FlyOver USA. The simulator lets individuals feel like they are zooming through the air over some of the most incredible scenery that country has to offer. It has been exceptionally well-received and is, in fact, one of Vancouver’s top attractions. Now, you have the chance to do it in Paris.

Quite different from the Rockies of Canada and the prairies of the USA, the Parisian experience will take you over the winding streets of the city. You will have the chance to take in iconic landmarks such as the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower among other well-known Paris hotspots. What better way to explore what is often dubbed “the world’s most beautiful city”?

Overall, this project has taken three years to develop, with the use of drones to capture super high quality footage of the city. With the amount of time and effort that has gone in to the creation of the attraction, it is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience.

The attraction is due to open on the 31st of March 2018 and will be located near Opéra Garnier.

Those with vertigo need not worry, at no point will your feet actually be off the ground during the 13 minutes it takes to complete the virtual journey. What’s more, this ride is open to everyone over the age 8 with a minimum height requirement of 1m20.

Of course, FlyView’s ride is just one of hundreds of attractions in Paris that are worth discovering. For more great views, climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower. Alternatively, get some culture at one of the city’s magnificent museums and galleries. The Louvre, home to the Mona Lisa, and Musée d’Orsay are the best known and most popular museums but smaller galleries shouldn’t be overlooked. The Orangerie near the Jardin des Tuileries is a captivating gallery that is home to Monet’s lilypad paintings and is well worth checking out.

Our hosts were invariably gracious and helpful. At every stop Emilie included a home cooked …

France Just For You planned the trip of a lifetime for my husband and me. We traveled to Normandy, St. Saint Michele, the Loire Valley and Provence. We are typically not road trip travelers, but this adventure brought us closer to the wonderful people of France than any group tour or "drop and plop" vacation could ever do. The bed and breakfasts …
