Click on the questions below and read the answers...

Being a US or Canadian or Australian citizen, traveling to France as a tourist, you only need a valid passport, no visa.

For other citizenships, please use our visa widget to get the most updated information.

Make sure that your passport's expiration date complies with the laws of your country and of France.

For most countries, your passport needs to be valid for at least 3 to 6 months beyond your last day in France.

At time of planning your trip, you should check the last update on your country's foreign services and travel website.

Rule is: as long as your drivers license is written in roman alphabet, it will be accepted by a car rental agency.

Be careful, you licenses & passports need to be valid - check the expiration dates before traveling.

French law requires an International Permit to accompany valid driver's licenses that are not in French. Canadian licenses are in French, and there is an exception for UK licenses.

We warmly advise you to leave your original passports at your accommodation and carry photocopies with you while visiting.

In such case, we recommend that you contact us on the emergency phone line and we will assist you and put you in contact with the right administration.
