Anyone planning a trip to France, whether for the first time or for the twelfth (like me), will benefit from the fabulous itinerary that Emilie can craft for you. My husband and I just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in the Medoc and the Loire Valley that Emilie planned for us: top-notch historic B&Bs with character, charming friendly hosts and sumptuous breakfasts and table d'hotes dinners; reserved TGV train tickets and fine car rental; and most specially, unique and interesting daily suggested itineraries crafted to our specific interests. Emilie provided us an amazing detailed day-by-day BOOK with photos, maps, and historical data that would interest us. She arranged wine tastings and other visits, and booked bikes for us to ride along the Loire. Many suggestions are personal--her favorite restaurants and wines, for example, in each area. We enjoyed every one. Emilie was available at any time for advice or help if needed. We could not have asked for more personal service or a more well-chosen itinerary. The organisation and friendliness of the places we stayed was outstanding. We travel a lot and this was a delightful experience that we can't wait to do again. She made all the arrangements and the guides she retained for us where top notch. The B&B accommodations were very good, the hosts were terrific and we enjoyed the other travelers we met at breakfast. We did two table d'hote dinners which were excellent and her restaurant recommendations were wonderful!
Everything is set forth in a book in which she provides a day by day itinerary with cultural descriptions, history, restaurant choices and of course directions.
She arranged for our rental car with Enterprise car rental; and, although her arrangements were perfect, through no fault of Emilie's we had a dispute with Enterprise. Emilie immediately became involved and eventually resolved the problem to our satisfaction. I am certain that without Emilie's assistance we would not have received any satisfaction from Enterprise.
In short we highly recommend Emilie. Most often we plan our trips ourselves arranging for hotels, transportation, guides etc. I was in the process of doing the same when we found Emilie.
Emilie added substantial value and enjoyment to our trip.
