Ah..La Provence...

  • Your first Bed & Breakfast for 4 nights lies just outside a lovely village on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. This former "mas house" has belonged to your hostess’s family for 4 generations and is surrounded by olive and cherry trees. One night, your host Chris will cook a delicious table d’hôtes dinner - a great evening guaranteed.
  • Mont Ventoux remains the most authentic part of Provence, with little villages such as Vaison la Romaine, Malaucène and Bedoin and dramatic landscapes like “les Dentelles de Montmirail.
  • In such a scenery, explore a very private wine estate, lost in the hills of Provence. You will enjoy a tour of the estate followed by a wine tasting, then have a picnic lunch in the vineyards. A very special place you would not find on your own.
  • Avignon, also referred to as “the City of Popes”, is a must see. Explore the palace of the Popes, the well-preserved ramparts and the famous “Avignon Bridge”. From this central point, you can easily tour the salt marshes of the Camargue and visit the Alpilles region, where you will find beautiful Saint Remy de Provence and Vincent Van Gogh favorite landscapes…we will tell you where to buy the best olive oil and lavender products!
  • If you are interested in history, don’t miss the Roman ruins at Arles, Orange and the Pont du Gard. We will also take you to smaller sites – less famous and much quieter.
  • Uncover every mystery of Luberon. We will tell you about some hidden jewels - villages, off the beaten track – not too crowded…so you can experience life in Provence like Peter Mayle did. We can recommend a local market and wine cellar for each day of the week

By the Mediterranean Sea

  • On the 5th day, on your way to the French Riviera, spend a luxury overnight in Cassis. Enjoy gorgeous Provençal coast, in the lively & colorful port...with a nice seaview from your room.
  • Discover Cassis unique landscapes and the Mediterranean creeks, following your private guide on an Electric Mountain Bike. A fun moment in gorgeous sceneries!

The French Riviera

  • On day 6, after about a 2hr drive, you will arrive in the French Riviera, right in the beating heart of Nice, in a charming boutique-hotel inspired by the Années Folles
  • You will return the car and walk everywhere in Nice. The famous Promenade des Anglais is just 2 blocks away and you can see it - and the sea - right from your suite-room.
  • In Nice, your lovely guide will take you to her best addresses in the old city to discover the history of the town via the Niçoise food & wine specialties.
  • But the Riviera is even more than all this. The “Cote d’Azur” is a marvel of fabulous 19th century villas and sapphire water coves. Wander about the narrow alleyways of the old city of Nice and visit the many famous art museums. Go shopping and enjoy views of the Mediterranean in seaside restaurants.
  • The easiest solution is to fly out of Nice International Airport - or Marseille, but if needed we can also plan for TGV high speed train connections to Paris or another destination.

Bienvenue en dans le sud !

Our Travelers’ Reviews

Lola
My husband and I have just returned from an amazing 16 day trip in France organized thoughtfully and beautifully by Emilie of France Just for You. As the other reviewers have stated, all interactions with Emilie have been prompt, professional and thorough. Although we have organized European travel on our own in the past, concerned that we might be …

We could not be happier. When we first received the guide book and brochures, we thought we would not need them, but they were invaluable! Our first stay with Florence and Phil was especially memorable but really we cannot think of a highlight because it was all wonderful. We will certainly recommend your company to anyone we know travelling to …

My wife and I were planning a special trip to Provence and although we didn't want a canned tour, we did want support to ensure we didn't miss out on experiences we simply weren't aware of. In our search we got lucky and found Emilie. She interviewed us in advance so she could customize the trip to our desires and interests and ultimately created …
