The Loire Valley, where the France Just For You team is based, produces a huge variety of different goat cheese. This recipe is very easy to make, but so satisfying with the creamy goat cheese – you will not be able to stop with just one serving. You will have plenty of opportunities to sample fresh goat cheese if you book one of our Loire Valley tours!
In the meantime, here are the ingredients and instructions so you can try it at home.
Ingredients for 4 servings :

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 410°F/210°C. Cook the pasta according to the directions. When done, put them in an oven-safe dish.
- Melt the goat cheese and the cream together over low heat. Add the thyme, salt and pepper.
- Pour the cream mixture over the pasta. Cover with the grated Swiss cheese, and cook in the oven for 15 minutes.
This can be served with a side salad. Our Senior Trip Planner Laura also sometimes adds frozen peas to the pasta when cooking to add a little color.
