Step by step

Paris Loire Valley Bordeaux

Bordeaux from Medoc vineyards

  • Start your journey in Bordeaux region staying for 3 nights in the Médoc, in a welcoming B&B house surrounded by the vineyards. Your lovely hosts will be happy to share with you all the wine places that they keep selecting all year long. One evening, your hosts will prepare dinner for you—a lovely opportunity to share a relaxed meal, taste local wines and experience a little of everyday life in Bordeaux wine country.

  • Built along the banks of the Garonne river the opulent merchants' homes are very specific to Bordeaux. The rise of colonial trade together with the growth of the wine industry contributed to the amazing expansion of the Gironde region during the 18th century.
  • Spend a morning with Mary, a private guide, who will have you stroll around Bordeaux Unesco district and explain about the city, its history, gastronomy, architecture...
  • In this region, you will find everything you need: from villages nestled into the Medoc or St Emilion vineyards, to the bustling night life in Bordeaux. Also, bear in mind that Bordeaux's Sainte Catherine Street is the longest shopping street in Europe!
  • On the 4th day, you will drive North for about 3hrs30, towards the Loire Valley.

Paris Loire Valley Bordeaux

Central Loire Valley

  • Your trip continues with 4 nights in a privately owned family château, surrounded by 17 hectares of peaceful parkland and magnificent century-old cedar trees. Share breakfast around the family table with your welcoming hosts, exchange stories about life at the château
  • From here, you will explore the Loire Valley's most famous sites: Chambord or Chenonceau, Chaumont gardens and if you want to do some shopping, you may enjoy Tours.
  • Touraine is also famous for its vineyards and we plan for you to relax on a typical boat on the Loire river, while enjoying a commented old-vintages wine tasting.
  • You will also wander into tiny villages dotted along the Loire river and get a taste of French gastronomy in restaurants and local markets we have tested for you. Feel the real French "good life" strolling around peaceful villages on market days.
  • Discover the historical town of Amboise a very fun way....on a Segway ! From the castle to the Loire river, from the old town to a nice wine cellar.

On your last day, you can chose where you want to return the car: you can drive 3 hours to Paris, 3hrs30 to CDG Airport or drop off the car in the Loire Valley and take a high speed train to your next destination.

Welcome to France!

There are not enough superlatives, or kind words, to describe the level of service Emilie, with France Just for You, provided us from the moment we contacted her, throughout our trip, and even her thoughtful emails upon our return. We contacted Emilie with a list of all the places we wished to go, the things we hoped to do, and our budget. We …

We like to travel independently and Emilie was fantastic in providing us everything we needed to do so. We had wonderful information to read beforehand and received maps and GPS coordinates to get us where we needed to go.This is a great service to use to set up your hotel and car arrangements along with suggested itineraries that can be modified …

France Just For You planned the trip of a lifetime for my husband and me. We traveled to Normandy, St. Saint Michele, the Loire Valley and Provence. We are typically not road trip travelers, but this adventure brought us closer to the wonderful people of France than any group tour or "drop and plop" vacation could ever do. The bed and breakfasts …
