Journey through Bordeaux and its surrounding vineyards before entering black Perigord and its mysteries.

Stay inside Bordeaux gates  in a quiet townhouse to discover the secrets of this wonderful city  known as the Sleeping Beauty. You will then rest on a wine estate  between Bordeaux and St Emilion where your Host and oenologist Sylvie will be of good advice for nearby visits and locals' favorite restaurants. A very special wine tasting will teach you how to recognize your wine dominant taste.

The journey continues to Dordogne, especially the Perigord area, at the heart of Vezere Valley where you will explore the most beautiful prehistoric painted caves, among them the access-restricted Font-de-Gaume. The following leg leads you to experience la vie de chateau near Sarlat in a stone and lauze castle. From there you will  jump into history with the visit of a 700 year old water mill, and into gastronomy with a memorable search for the black truffle. The old town of Sarlat deserves a visit, particularly on market days to enjoy local atmosphere and products.

Last but not least end your trip near Rocamadour in Quercy regional park. Your lovely Hosts will share with you and other fellow guests a table d’hotes dinner with local specialties. This is a trip to be remembered!
